shown in Britain account for 21%, while in Australia account for 5%. The lowest
films shown in Australia come from Britain, while British cinema did not show
any Australian films in its cinemas. The Australian film shown in Australia
account for nearly 11% of the films. In addition, films comes from other
countries in British cinema account for 2%and in Australian cinema account for
15%. More people go to the cinema in Britain than in Australia. There was a
dramatic drop in cinema attendance between 1980 and 1982 from 100 million to 50
million in Britain, and then cinema attendance fluctuated between 1982 to 1994,
after that it leveled out to 2000. The number of cinema attendance in Australia
dropped dramatically from 40 million to 20 million between 1980 to 1982, then
the number increased slowly to 90 million in 2000.
Overall, US films
is the most popular in both countries, and as the time goes on the number of
people go to the cinema increased in both countries.
